You realize at retirement age, no matter how old you are, it is the last phase of your life. After carrying so much responsibility throughout my life's journey, I was finally ready to be BEACH HAPPY in paradise and enjoy my six grandchildren.

Bravely taking off to Hollywood, California. I started a new life working in the movie industry making a lifetime of memories. After my mom had a stroke, I quickly moved back to my Okie roots. Now fusing my Southern values with the Hollywood crazy adventures to create a new chapter in my life.
Unmasking the PAIN Within
Unmasking the PAIN Within was inspired by the hurt and pain built up inside of me. I would wake up in the middle of the night in tears. The only way I could go back to sleep was to start writing my thoughts down, writing about past abuse in a journal.
About Me
Patty McCall is an author, actress, producer, and entertainment reporter with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. A former Teller Supervisor and Customer Service Banker at First National Bank in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Patty later co-owned a cable TV construction business and operated a clothing boutique.
Patty is the author of three books: CaliOkie, Unmasking the Pain Within, and Nana Hollywood Retires to Paradise. She won an International Cover Contest for Heart of Hollywood Magazine, representing Classic Ladies Over 50, and has appeared in commercials, music videos, and served as a judge for Americans and Miss Oklahoma pageants.
As CEO of Pain Prevent Abuse In Neighborhoods (PAIN), Patty advocates for abuse prevention and community awareness. She is the proud mother of three adult children and "Nana Hollywood" to six grandchildren. Patty resides in Panama City Beach, Florida.
